Steve's sighing from where he's settled in. His shoulders sag as a chorus of "Wiggly dessert!" erupts from the table where all the Ghosts are gathered around their organic brethren as they nudge a flan closer for snackrification.
"I don't want to be a killjoy either." Steve's trying and failing not to smile down at the varnished wood to himself. "I just don't want him to suffer. Figure it's not great to just leave him with no guidance and let him find out the hard way what indigestion or worse is."
Blaze has a point though. Ghost deserves a chance to take a load off. If it stops him from panicking over everything he's lost...
