Hearing her correct herself is painful, not because she's wrong, but because even though the body is laid out right in front of him, part of Thor still resists believing that Steve is really dead. Or maybe it's just the part where it reminds him that there is no guarantee that this will work. Or that the Steve that may return might not be the same Steve that he knew, though he can't imagine his friend being any less eager to meet a worthy fight either.
