"Losing our system to the Darkness would be bad enough..." Ghost doesn't even want to think about it spreading to others. Not least because at this point, they feel more than a little invested in the safety of all their friends' homes.
Better to commiserate about the cold, right? "It does make it harder to take good sensor readings, but I especially don't like how it sticks on my shell. Getting rained or snowed on isn't so bad unless it starts to freeze onto me." The little bot shivers with the memory. "Actually though, high winds are the worst part. Before I found Blaze, I had to find shelter by myself. I um, got blown away more than once."
Blaze probably didn't intend her grunt of understanding to come out so... relieved, there. "So maybe they do need to keep those barriers up. Even though you're not supposed to be enemies any more." She snorts. "You ever just want to grab them by the shoulders, give 'em a good shake and yell 'Explain!'? Because I sure as hell do, and I'm only hearing about them."
