But it's a true promise and she's glad Adia understands the necessity. (Even if a small part of her wonders whether Adia's feelings will be so simple, should warning turn to battle.)
For now she nods, with a low grunt of acceptance. There's some reassurance in knowing Adia (and any civilians standing next to her) will be left out of future trouble.
They both look up curiously at her news - and the happy change of subject. "
