"Yeah," she says quietly. "I understand that feeling. Honestly, that's kind of... terrifying, everything falling apart so fast. People splitting up into gangs..." People waking up in decaying bodies with no explanation. She's trying not to stare at Jesse by this point: uneasy fascination just isn't a polite way to look at someone. Especially not someone who's been so gentle with her freaking out so far.

"I wish I knew some way to help... are you okay for now? I mean- considering. People here don't bother you, do they?" The Nexus seems pretty civilized, right? She's met a whole bunch of nice people already.
