"'Blaze'?" the girl echoes under her breath, frowning already. It's not immediately easy, to see the Exo warrior in the human girl. She's a few inches shorter than Blaze, without the same easy self-confidence in her posture. And having ditched the armor, her outline is very different. There is, however, a familiar intensity to the gaze she returns to Jesse, refusing to be intimidated by the dead man's stare.
"We told you the truth," Ghost assures their cowboy friend. "I know it seems strange, but it is her. Somehow."
"Somehow?" Bryn folds her arms, turning a hard look on Ghost. There's a soft accent to her voice that Blaze lacks, and no synthetic edge to it, but the timbre of her voice is the same. "I get that my older self must be different - very different - but I didn't think I'd be that hard to recognize."
"There's... a lot of things I haven't filled you in on yet." Ghost holds her gaze for a few seconds, then shoots Jesse as pleading a look as the droop of his little shell can convey. "Could we talk about this somewhere, um, quieter?"
