Blaze leans against the seat for a couple of minutes while they sweep around, optics flicking between the view and the way Jesse’s face just lit up. “Or is it just the zed that kill them? I don’t know if our enemies bother to hunt animals.”

She checks the sensors, adds offhand: “Better keep moving.” It’s a shame, but the city ruins aren’t far and she wants to fulfill Jesse’s request before the other locals come nosing after them. Can’t fight in the air, short of gaining the height and dropping out of a hatch onto the enemy…

Which might be worth trying, one of these days. She toys with the calculations, makes some rough mental notes.
