Katsuya's quick to explain (in Japanese, obviously) that his tall English speaking companion is a huge tech geek and is attending a science fiction convention if anyone stares for too long.

Having them both in his apartment is a welcome thing--Katsuya had begun to forget what it was like to have company. Never a good thing.
