The only reason Blaze's reactions are ever hard to read is that metallic mask, and she's missing it now. There's no hiding the alarmed widening of her eyes, the uncertain frown, the questioning look she gives her Ghost. She has no grounds to argue from, and she's awful at lying on the fly.
