The oracle flares even brighter for a split second. Then it dies, leaving only its assassin standing there revealed. The serpentine overmind above it begins to turn. The Wolf, quick-witted, swords abandoned, dives beneath its floating tail and rolls between two lesser Vex in its bid to escape.
