*Seeing the way the enemy is dividing its attention, Samus kicks for more altitude, drawing fire further away from Blaze, and setting herself up for her own counterattack--when she runs out of wall, in whatever clearing the cyclops occupies, she'll come down on it in a storm of void-fire all her own. It wouldn't be the first time an enemy was particularly vulnerable to its own weapon turned against it. She hopes.*

*At the very least, she should be distracting, and hard to shake off.*
