*Samus opts to evade, ducking under the beam by curling into her morph ball and zooming ahead, charging and firing the boost rhythmically. She hops as she goes, boosting to carom off of some of the cube-lamps, ricocheting unpredictably as she works her way closer. If she can get a decent slope to ramp off of, she'll close in much faster.*
