Okay, NOW it's boss music time (and Blaze and Samus might possibly be the bosses).

*It did what it was meant to, catching the Vex with their guard down. The portal snaps open, and Samus dives through, trusting Blaze to do the same--she'll close it as quickly as she can, the better to keep the Vex from spotting it, and starts scanning the big enemy for weaknesses.*
