The Hunter's spray of fire prompts the main reinforcements to hunker behind their cover to minimize damage - except the ones who lose their heads. Those let out scratching, stuttering sounds and charge to find a path toward the first enemy they see, spewing fire as soon as they're in range. At least it makes them easier to hit.
