Last spark from the ashes

Blaze is close behind her, firing her Pike's boosters to see if she can't overtake her friend. The road to the Citadel weaves through steep-sided hills, narrowing as it joins up with an ancient river channel. The vehicles are slow and ungainly compared to Guardian transport, but they handle the winding path easily. Give or take a few clipped tree stumps on Blaze's part.
